Question: What's the most sensitive part of a parent's body when they're being intimate with their partner?

Answer: Their EARS!

How you listen before, during and after you speak makes a huge impact on what you and your audience receive. Let's get your ears working for you.

"I never read anything I haven't written myself".  I heard this phrase when I was a trainee-speaker back in the 90s in Australia. It still rings in my head.

What the f...ruit-truck? DO read. READ everything you can. Read in silence and read aloud. Read your own writing aloud and other authors. Inside some reading games that will ignite your curiosity and give you a pleasure you maybe haven't explored yet.

A courier walked into an executive's office to deliver a letter. The executive was having a great day so he asked the courier to sing the letter to him. The courier opened the letter and looked a little uncomfortable.

Executive: "No, no, go on. Sing it! I want to hear music in every part of this fabulous day!"

How would you finish this joke? What news would be terrible to sing to someone? Sing THAT news right now. Can you sense the off-beat comedy in that?

There is a lot more to gain when you add singing to your vocal expression. Aside from bad jokes 😉

How well is your message reaching your audience? How do you feel when you deliver your message(s)?

One of the least discussed and taught activities in speaking is the whole point of almost everything that escapes our mouths. It is to connect.

Firstly, check that you're connecting on the inside. Check your mechanics and intentions. Then play with going out with your message.
